Local derby between Coney Hill and Old Cents is cancelled
THE South West One East local derby between Old Centralians and Coney Hill at Saintbridge on Saturday has been cancelled.
The Metz Way outfit are serving a club ban for acquiring more than five red cards this season with the entire club’s various teams seeing all of their fixtures being called off.

Hill’s director of rugby Trevor Lewis says it is unfortunate that the ban happens to fall on the weekend of the biggest game of the season between the two near neighbours.
“We want to play against our local rivals because we look forward to it and I know a lot of people in Gloucester look forward to it,” said Lewis.

“Our highest attendance this season was when we played them at our place so we were looking forward to playing them but unfortunately this ban is in force this weekend.
“What our senior players have got to remember is that we have a fantastic junior section and they have got to set the standard for our junior section.
“We will have a little get together on Saturday instead because we have the Combination Cup coming up so we have got to have a bit of unity ahead of that.”
As a result the maximum outcome for the match, five points for a bonus-point win, will be handed to the Slimbridge men which will help their push for promotion.
Old Cents were equally as disappointed that the fixture has not gone ahead with team manager Steve Preece saying that he can go watch his son jack play for Cinderfod against Esher now.
“We were in a similar situation a few years ago but luckily we just received a warning,” said Preece.

“Harden is the best. It's as simple as that and the troll jonno2010 knows it but daren't admit it because of the extra egg on face.”

“Rupert Harden... First choice, the best and top rated tight head at Gloucester Rugby. It must stick in the gut of the troll jonno2010, every time the knowledgeable Nigel Davies selects our man Rupert Harden to start.”

“12 out of 16 starts is the key stat. here and proves that Harden is Gloucester's top tight head.”

“Can I just take this opportunity to re-emphasise that Gloucester's best tight head is Rupert Harden. 12 out of 16 premiership starts is the killer fact.”

“Harden is Gloucester's first choice tight head, that is the fact that the troll jonno2010 can not stand. He really hates it.”

“Nigel Davies says that Rupert Harden is his first choice starting tight head. Who am I to argue with the experts. On the other hand, the troll jonno2010 believes he is more of an expert than Nigel Davies.”

“When it mattered in a winnable game, Sarries dominated our front row and Gloucester lost the game. You just know that that wouldn't have happened if Harden had been on the field.”

“For all this guff we are getting from the troll of many names and identities (currently pushing his jonno2010 ID) he can't get away from the fact that is wholly attributable to Rupert harden, which is that he is the number 1 tight head at Gloucester. The number of times he has been selected to start proves it.”
