London, Paris, New York .. & Lydney! Lydney Dial-A-Ride bring Fashion to the Forest!
When you think of fashion, you normally think of the capitals of the world renown for running at the forefront of fashion and the latest catwalk trends. London, Paris, New York, Milan and the likes. Did you ever think that you would hear Lydney on the map of the fashion scene? Well, you are about to!
Lydney Dial-A-Ride alongside Lydney Community Centre are hosting their very own fashion show to rival the pros in the fashion capitals. Illustrating a wide array of clothing items donated by the public to our Charity shops, our show is hoping to highlight the quality of our donations to potential customers and 'Wow' the audience as to what they can purchase from our shops! Many people would be surprised at the donations we receive from the generous public who help to support our charity, and we want to showcase the best of these pieces in a show-stopping fashion extravaganza!

Fashion Show!
The show is hitting the runway on Wednesday 3rd October at Lydney Community Centre, with the fun kicking off at 7.00pm. Its promised to be a great night for all, with the opportunity to purchase the outfits you see as well as many more gems from our shops on the night! We have volunteer models of all shapes and sizes, with a variety of outfit changes and fashions, so why not make a night of it? Grab a few friends, get on down to one of our shops and buy yourselves some tickets and then kick back and enjoy your very own catwalk show at the fraction of the price of the designers! Whats more, there will be a raffle too! What more could you ask for?!
Tickets are £5, which include a glass of wine or juice, and are available from our charity shops in Lydney, Coleford and Cinderford, as well as Lydney Community Centre and the Lydney Dial-A-Ride office at the Town Hall. All proceeds will be split between Lydney Dial-A-Ride and Lydney Community Centre, and so by buying a ticket for our show, you are supporting the vital service we provide to the local community.

“I don't think the New York or London fashionistas will be too worried about KLydney stealing their thunder. Not least of which as clothing items donated in the Forest will not be of much use to those in the deeper end of the gene pool. There's not much call for 6 fingered gloves and socks knitted for webbed feet in London or New York.”
