"We depend on our eye and what we think our clients would find attractive," said Catherine.
"We have an eclectic range from Chanel and Louis Vuitton to shops you'd find on Cheltenham's Promenade, such as Phase Eight, Hobbs and Karen Millen.
"But if a quality piece with good fabric and an interesting print comes in from Top Shop or H&M we will integrate it."
The duo, who launched ReVamp in 2009, worked together in retail for about nine years.
Catherine went travelling and came back full of energy and ideas, but the recession had already started.
"So the business had to be tailored to that," she said. "Basically, people bring in their stock that perhaps they've mispurchased or only worn a few times and it gives them the opportunity to generate some cash as we sell on a 50/50 basis.
"At the same time it gives customers the opportunity to buy really nice items at a bargain price.
"We sold one of our most memorable things on the first day – a Missoni dress donated to us. It was a good omen and an exciting start. I think we under-priced it, at £180, because the woman customer ran down the road to the cashpoint and back."
The store can provide a whole look from outfit to accessories and shoes.
It has also stocked a few talking points including a £100 handmade sheepskin cape.

A new sort of charity shop then.”
