CROFT Farm in picturesque Bredons Hardwick was transformed into a spectacular festival as it staged its third annual LakeFest at the weekend.
With tents and caravans pitched across the site, its acres of beautiful fields were transformed.
Having taken four children, I was hoping the family-friendly pledge would prove true.
There was an interesting mix of food and drink places for the kids to explore. Favourites proved to be dunking doughnuts and ice cones into a never-ending choice of flavours and the fair rides.
Gents, come in to Earl's & Co and enjoy a haircut and finish, glass of whisky and a shoeshine for £18.50

The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was so friendly.
Friday's headliners act were 90s Britpoppers Ocean Colour Scene, who proved a massive hit in an overflowing Garden Tent, with many fans having to stand outside.
Known for iconic tracks The Riverboat Song and The Day We Caught The Train, they had the crowd on their feet from the minute they hit the stage.
On Saturday, Croft Farm was again buzzing with thousands of festival-goers, most there to see The Levellers. Crowds waited for hours at the main LakeFest stage for the legendary folk-rockers.
They didn't disappoint, putting on a great set which had everyone dancing round the haystacks.
With tracks like What A Beautiful Day ringing in our ears as the sun went down, LakeFest proved a great mix of entertainment with circus performers, family activities and messing about on the lake.
What a great festival – loads to do and see. The weather was glorious and the atmosphere fantastic.
