"Paul has done a great job with him and he's settled in well.
"We've only had him a fortnight and we've not had to do too much with him."
Lycett is hoping to end the meeting on a high with Tinelyra in the Guy Knights Memorial Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race.
The six-year-old finished second in his three point-to-points in Ireland before joining Lycett.
"We've ironed a few problems he had and he's had a good MOT," he said.
"He seems in good order and his form is quite solid."
