M&S latest fashions trends are nowhere to be seen in Gloucestershire
THE much-anticipated Marks & Spencer autumn collection has landed in shops with great fanfare – but the key "must-have" pieces are not easy to find in Gloucestershire.
Shoppers won't have to worry about bumping into someone wearing the same thing, because only a lucky few have managed to get their hands on key garments in the firm's autumn/winter collection.
Many of the clothes are worn by Katie Piper and Dame Helen Mirren in an ad campaign called Leading Women.
But they seem to be sold out or in low stock at Gloucester's store in Eastgate Street.

They currently have plenty of stock of the black sequin jumper and the purple wrap dress.
But many of the coats were running low on stock including the City Coat, Military Coat and Boucle Coat.
The Blush Pink Duster Coat was nowhere to be seen, and neither was the black leather jacket modelled by Katie Piper.
Maggie Smith, of Longford, said: "I often come into Marks and Spencer but I do not always buy something.
"I have managed to get a pair of trousers from the collection. I will usually look online as well."
Dorothy Wasley, of Tuffley, said: "I come in once a week for a quick glance and will pick something if I see it.
"Last week I managed to buy a few tops."
But shoppers in Cheltenham have been delighted that despite a nationwide shortage, the store in the High Street has plenty of stock.
Tanya Ellis, 53, of Bishop's Cleeve, said: "It is really good. I have even bought a dress from that section."
Jill Darwin, 87, of Cheltenham, said: "I have got jackets and other bits. I am quite particular and this range is just too ordinary. This just doesn't interest me at all."
Not all of the items are available in every size.
The £85 faux fur coat worn in the advert by Olympic boxer Nicola Adams is available in sizes 12 or 18 only, while Tracey Emin's red funnel-neck coat has sold out in sizes 6 to 10.
Jill Moore, 64, said: "Even in the Cheltenham branch there are sizes that are not there.
"There were three jackets I liked that were not in my size. I managed to get some boots in a size six but I take five and a half so I will have to wear thick socks. I came from Gloucester specially."
The firm said it bought more than 50 per cent more products than in previous years and is replenishing stock more frequently.
Marks & Spencer has confirmed two items featured in the campaign, a £35 bead-embellished tweed jumper worn by Dame Helen and a £69 check belted jacket modelled by Nicola Adams, had now sold out and will not be on sale.
