M5 southbound part-closed following accident, 4 injured
Two lanes of the M5 southbound in Gloucestershire have been closed this morning after a vehicle overturned.
Four passengers of a Toyota Rav4 were left with minor injuries after it collided with debris left from the breakdown of a lorry between junctions 13 and 14 and turned onto its roof.
The incident took place at around 3.20am but two lanes of the motorway remained closed during the busy morning rush hour.
At 7.30am, police said they were waiting for vehicle recovery teams to come and take the lorry away and expected the motorway to reopen soon.
