MMR alert after school outbreak
A DEVON MP has urged parents to have their children inoculated after an outbreak of measles at a Devon school.
The Sands School in Ashburton has been at the centre of an NHS and South West Health Protection Unit investigation after several pupils contracted measles-like symptoms.
Central Devon MP Mel Stride, whose constituency includes the Dartmoor town, has now urged parents to follow public health protection advice and ensure children have the MMR jab.
