MP stages a surgery with floating voters
A FULL crew of constituents met MP Neil Carmichael during his unusual, first floating surgery.
All dozen slots for the innovative meet-the-MP sessions were taken when he boarded a canal narrowboat between Slimbridge and Hardwicke.
Mr Carmichael cruised on the Perseverance, the Cotswold Canal Trust's trip boat and said: "I'm a strong supporter of the trust's restoration of our local canals.
"They are a wonderful facility for local people and visitors alike," he added.
