MUM Jo Hibberd is appealing for a thief to return an iPad which contained precious pictures for her mother.
Her Longlevens home was raided and the computer taken.
It had on it images for her mum Pat Pollitt, 79, who has Alzheimer's.
She had uploaded photos and videos to remind the pensioner, who was diagnosed with the disease almost nine years ago, of past events and show her how quickly grandchildren Ocean, six, and Eden, two, are growing up.

Jo said: "My mum is bedridden at the moment and obviously cannot be there to see the children as they take part in school events and the iPad was a way of keeping her up to date with it all.
"The thieves took about 11 items but I am devastated I have lost all the pictures and videos and beg them to return the iPad because it means so much to me.
"It is also a way of showing the kids all the times they have spent with their nan as they are still young and I don't know how long my mum will live for. It is a shame the thieves have taken that away from them."
Jo had not even suspected thieves had struck when she came downstairs on the morning of June 15.
She just carried on with her morning routine feeding and clothing the children. It was not until she was strapping Eden into her car that she noticed something was awry.
Devastated
"I am not a smoker and the car smelt badly of cigarette smoke and body odour which was very odd," said Jo.
"I went back into the house to fetch my iPad and not only discovered it had disappeared but also that the conservatory door had been smashed."
She has reported the crime to police. Anyone with any information about the burglary should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 98 of June 15 or alternatively anyone wishing to return the iPad should call Jo on 07940102155.

“It's possible she doesn't know they're backed up - I don't use Apple products, but don't they backup the device each time they're plugged into iTunes? It's certainly worth asking.”

“Alfredo,
Do you think Jo would be making such a public request if they were backed up? Stupid boy!”

“Presumably she still has the photos on her computer and on her back-up device/service?”
