Mad hatters barbecue raises cash for animals
WHAT do you get when you have a garden party and an array of comical hats?
The answer is £200.
Pensioners Charles and Nora Yates, from Tuffley Avenue, host garden parties every year to raise money for various good causes.
Their most recent party on July 15 raised £200 for the Teckels Animal Sanctuary. The 'mad hatters' theme saw guests wear the most outrageous hats they could get their hands on.
