Major blaze hits Gloucester factory
A major blaze has struck a Gloucester factory site which is home to a number of industrial firms.
Phoenix Vessel Technology, based in The Old Bakery, in Lower Tuffley Lane, caught fire this afternoon.
Fire crews are on the scene now and have requested extra help because of the scale of the fire.
One onlooker said: "We were having a meeting in Quedgeley when we could see thick black smoke billowing from a building nearby."

A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Nobody was trapped in the building and everyone has been safely evacuated."
Two fire crews from Gloucester, two from Cheltenham and one from Stroud are on the scene.
Fire crews we called out at 2.45pm.
Businesses who call The Old Bakery home include Chelmix Concrete, Commercial Vehicle Repairs, JMJ Fabrications and Phoenix Vessel Technology.
Alison Kear said: "My husband Darren owns DK Automotive which is based in the next unit from where the fire is. As soon as it went into flames Darren had to remove as many cars as he could.
"One of them has gone to bits. There are currently lots of fire engines and all the crew are all doing a great job."
