Man had 2,000 indecent images
A CHELTENHAM man found with more than 2,000 indecent images of children on his computer has appeared in court.
David Philips pleaded guilty to nine counts of making indecent images of children and one count of possessing a photograph at Gloucester Crown Court.
The court was told police officers found 2,394 of the pictures with 11 being of the most serious and 1,107 of the least serious.
Philips, 45, of Millbrook Street, in St Peter's was ordered to sign the Sexual Offenders' Register by Judge Jamie Tabor QC.

He will appear back before the court for sentencing on November 7.
Judge Tabor said he could make no promises about the sentence Phillips would get.
