Man accused of sexually assaulting girl

A 48-YEAR-OLD man is accused of having sex with a girl and sexually assaulting another almost a decade ago.

Gunter Wirth, of Dyer Street, Cirencester, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court charged with having sex with a 17-year-old girl in the summer of 2005 in Cirencester.

He is also accused of indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 16 between March 1 and June 30 2003.

Wirth was granted bail on condition he was not left alone with anyone who is under the age of 18.
