“Makes a change to read that a hit & run driver has been quickly identified & arrested. Too often we read about such idiots being sought, but never identified.
Given that this incident happened after 11pm, it does make you wonder just why he didn't stop, and just how many motoring offences he might have been committing at the time.
Hope the injured pedestrian recovers from his / her injuries, and that the book is thrown at the errant driver, if appropriate, once the police investigation is completed.”
