Man arrested in post office robbery investigation
Police investigating a robbery at a post office in Stroud have arrested a man.
The robbery happened at approximately 9.55am yesterday, Monday September 17, at the post office on Stratford Road, Paganhill.
A man went to the counter and demanded that staff hand over some money. The offender was holding what is believed to be a knife. The staff handed over some cash and the man left the premises on foot.
As part of their investigation officers have arrested a 24-year-old local man on suspicion of robbery.

He has been bailed to return to the police station on October 18, pending further inquiries.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 96 of September 17.
