Man arrested on suspicion of rape in Gloucester
POLICE have cordoned off an alleyway in London Road and arrested a man on suspicion of rape.
Officers were called out at 1.55am this morning after a 30-year-old woman from Gloucester was sexually assaulted in an area between Catridge World and the railway bridge.

They carried out a search in the city and at 2.40am arrested a 37-year-old man from Broadheath in Cheshire at the Asda supermarket in Bruton Way.
The area remains cordoned off this morning while forensic investigations take place.
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the London Road area in the early hours of the morning to come forward and call them on 101, quoting incident 26 of February 15.
