Man assaulted in Clarence Square, Cheltenham
POLICE are appealing witnesses to come forward after an assault in St Paul's, Cheltenham over the weekend.
A 43-year-old man from Cardiff was punched by a man while he was in Clarence Square around 11pm last Saturday.

The offender was described as white, in his 30s and around 6ft 1" tall. He was of slim build and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top.
The victim was taken to Cheltenham General hospital for treatment after he suffered injuries to his face.

Officers are eager to hear from anyone that witnessed the assault and information can be given to Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 455 of February 23.

“Yes but at least Cheltenham police give a description (albeit 4 days late), unlike Gloucester police - they're always looking for "two men" or "offenders" - how on earth do they expect the publics help, looking for two men!”
