Man punched in horror attack on his own land at Longney farm
A man who confronted nuisance motorcyclists on his own land was assaulted over the weekend.
The incident happened at a farm in Longney at about 4.30pm on Saturday.

The victim, a 65-year-old man, approached the riders after being told three people on dirt bikes were on his property.
When they refused to leave the victim was threatened and punched, causing facial injuries including cuts, bruises and a fractured cheekbone. He has been treated in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for his injuries.

The offenders are described as in their late teens or early 20s, one believed to black and the other two white.
A 16-year-old boy from Gloucester has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the case and bailed to attend Gloucester police station on April 25, pending further inquiries.

“section 34. 1(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 states,
If without lawful authority a person drives a mechanically propelled vehicle-
On to or upon any common land, moor land or land of any other description, not being land forming part of a road. He is guilty of an offence.
The police should also prosecute them for this, not just a warning!”
