​A man had to be rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in his car following a road traffic collision near Tewkesbury.

Fire crews were called to the A435 between Teddington Cross Hands roundabout and the Pamington turning at around 11.32pm last night.

A man had got trapped in his car following a road accident and was rescued by a fire crew from Winchcombe and one from Tewkesbury by 12.17am this morning.

The man was injured and was taken to hospital by county ambulance.
