This is Gloucestershire

A man had to be rescued by fire crews after getting stuck up to his waist in mud at a housing estate in the early hours of this morning.

Three fire crews from Gloucester were called to the Coopers Edge housing development in Brockworth at around 1.40am.

The man had got stuck in the mud up to his waist and had to be rescued by the crews.

Firefighters got him out by 2.10am. He was not injured.
