When Mars and Venus collide
WEDNESDAY, TEWKESBURY: A one-man show based on John Gray's best-selling book 'Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus' comes to Tewkesbury this week.
The show, vowing to be a dramatic solution to relationships everywhere, sees the narrator taking us through everyday situations, and asking the question: Why is our other half so frustrating and what can we do to make them better?
Based on the theory that men and women live on two different planets, it explores the idea that everyone has been confronted with, or been irritated by, incomprehensible behaviour on the part of the opposite sex and asks why is this.
Promising laughter coming from all sides of the auditorium, couples elbowing each other in the ribs and others exchanging knowing looks, this is a show with a difference, giving you the key to understanding the opposite sex once and for all, so that we can turn what are currently differences into a source of complicity rather than conflict.
Tickets cost £14 with concessions available. To book, visit www.rosestheatre.org or call the box office on 01684 295074. Elaine McLaren
