Masked men rob pensioner in his own home
MEN wearing balaclavas robbed a Barton pensioner in his own home.
The horrifying incident happened between 7pm and 8.15pm on Saturday in Barton Street.

A man in his 70s was at home when two men in dark clothing and balaclavas knocked on the door, barged their way in and assaulted him.
They searched the house and made off with several hundred pounds in cash and a couple of bottles of spirits.

The victim was not seriously injured in the attack but was said to be very badly shaken up.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or thinks they may have seen the offenders before or after the robbery, should call police immediately on 101, quoting incident 381 of February 23.
