MEGA Monday shopping madness arrived this week and shoppers had millions of Lego blocks in their sights.
The Danish model bricks are an in-demand toy this Christmas, as £10,000-worth of online transactions were expected to be made every second.
With payday for most people on Saturday, yesterday was expected to be the busiest online shopping day in history.
Many mums and dads are ordering Lego sets for their children on the internet.

Although some Gloucestershire toys stores stock Lego, county shopper Caroline Campbell, who has family in Scotland, said ease of delivery is a major advantage of online shopping.
"If I shop online for Lego at John Lewis I can have all my presents delivered to my family in Scotland and save myself the cost of postage and of carrying them," she said.
"It's a shame because I like to support local shops.
"My time is really precious - I am a working mum with a toddler and the internet takes the strain out of Christmas shopping."
Visa Europe predicts £320million will be spent on its cards alone as online transactions top 6.8 million, an increase of 21% on last year.
This month will also see more than £11 billion withdrawn from cash machines, equating to more than £41,000 per second in the pre-Christmas peak.
The extra sales should give county courier firms a boost too.
Innsworth-based carrier Cotswold Express Couriers boss Zoe Jones expects to see an increase in deliveries this week.
"We are sitting tight at the moment but I imagine deliveries are about to go up," she said.
"Some of our customers send out Christmas hampers and we know that work is around the corner too."
Christopher North, managing director of Amazon.co.uk, said the firm has taken on 10,000 seasonal employees.
"As people increasingly shop on mobile devices and benefit from fast broadband at home, we're seeing a move towards customers buying their Christmas gifts later in the evening when they are at home relaxing," he said.
