Mehew's disappointment at City defeat
TIGERS boss Dave Mehew said he wants to see more from his players today after Saturday's woeful display at Redditch.
Mehew (pictured, right) said his Gloucester City side failed to take hold of the muddy game at the Valley Stadium and have given themselves a mountain to climb to maintain their position in Blue Square North.

They welcome Sollihull to the Corinium Stadium today in a must win match.
"I have no complaints about the result or the pitch. On the day the better team won," said Mehew.
"We missed our experience, we always miss Tom Webb when he is not there. It was the ideal conditions for Matt Rose too. There were a couple of iffy performances.
"I took Lee Marshall off at half time because he had been booked and I could see that Redditch would get at him. I needed to shake it up and he was not playing very well."
But Mehew said he was pleased to see the way loanee Ben Hunt and striker Mike Symons played together.
"There could be a partnership forming there," he said. "They were linking up well, they just need to communicate. Ben is only 19 but he is a big lad and he looks very mature, he did well in stages."
The return of the Preece twins, Brandon and Callum to the City squad has also given Mehew a boost. The pair have stepped up from the youth team and Callum, who played for Cirencester Town last season, has given Mehew food for thought.
"I had a good chat with him," he said. "He has been playing at centre back for the youth but he doesn't think he will make it there because of his height so he wants to try it at right back which is interesting for me. He is definitely one for the future.
"It is a shame I could not get Brandon on as well."
New signing Joe McClennan has yet to show Mehew he has the X factor.
Mehew said: "He was passed on to me by Bob Bloomer and is ideal cover for some of the problems we are having with injuries at the moment. He is quite young and we will have a look at him and see where he can fit in."
