Mum Yvonne Rees-Coleman from Barry in Wales said: "It was lovely but not lovely."
She said the Newent service, which starts at noon, is for everyone who could not make it to the funeral.
Bethan had lived in the town for two years and was known for her bubbly personality and love of pink and horses.
Yvonne said people are welcome to wear the pink instead of the traditional black.
The family have asked for donations to Diabetes UK Wales and Liege Manor Equestrian Centre in Bomvilstone instead of flowers.
They can be sent c/o Ken Davis and Sons Funeral directors on 01437 563319.
