“Is The Glos Echo possibly the most boring piece of so called journalism ever produced or what? A total waste of anybody's time who has more than one brain cell or an even slightly enquiring mind. What total ******** they spout every day, and they expect, you, the reader to believe this ****! makes me laugh. The servile tools of a corrupt and thieving elite.
love to you all! xx”

“Who decides whether an injury is minor or not?
Does it have to be life-threatening (head hanging off, blood gushing out etc.)?
Or what if the injury is not life-threatening, but will cause permanent or lasting damage if not attended to quickly (broken bones, foreign object in eye, spinal or head injury)
And what if the true nature of the injury (major or minor) is not known until it is examined by a specialist? Too many uncertainties for my liking.
I'd suggest going somewhere like Worcester Royal if you can get there. They seem MUCH more on-the-ball.”

“Sandra's hit the nail on the head. If people can't get an appointment at their doctor's and there is a potential wait of nine hours at the access centre at Eastgate House, that explains why they turn up at A&E. There's no surprise there. There are clearly too few GPs.”

“As several people have said , there needs to be easier access to a doctor or nurse at their own doctor's surgery . There always used to be at least a nurse there who could see you .
Only this week I needed to get a wrist injury looked at , so went to my local pharmacy for advice. I was examined and told I needed to get it checked out by a doctor as they thought it might be infected . Went to my GP surgery, no doctor or nurse available for that day , ''go to Eastgate Access Centre ' or ''ring tomorrow at 8am to see if there's an appointment free '' ! I went to the Access Centre, and was told there was a 9 hour wait to see a doctor . I did get seen there that evening, but, the point is, if you are in pain and unsure whether you've got a serious injury or not you can spend a whole day running around trying to get it looked at . Not too bad if you've got your own transport , but if not, it can be very difficult to access help/advice .
With more and more houses being built, and so many additional people living in the area people are finding getting a doctor's appointment very difficult. Surely it's time to go back to getting GP surgeries which has at the very least a nurse available to look at and give advice on whether an injury is minor or not .”

“At Glevum surgery, it takes over three weeks to see a doctor. Anything to do with the tories putting them in charge of the finance? I think we should be told!”
