Miss Gloucester misses out
MISS Gloucester missed out on chance to become Miss England on Monday night.
But Jenni Hickey remains the pride of the city, even though she wasn't chosen to go through to the final.

Fifteen of the nation's most beautiful women were selected by the judges at the semi-final in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, from a total of 75. "I didn't make it through to the final but I had a lovely day," said Jenni, 20, a degree student at Hartpury College.
"It was quite nice to meet other girls from all over the country and see what experiences they had."

Jenni took the famous Gloucester cherry and white shirt with her for the sportswear round, which replaced the swimwear section of the competition. The 15 who qualified will go on to the final at in Birmingham on September 1. Jenni won the Cream hairdressing-sponsored Miss Gloucester last month and remains the reigning Miss Gloucester.
