MOSELEY have announced the addition of five bright new prospects to the list of players available to them from Gloucester next season in the newly-formed Championship.

As part of the dual registration deal between the two clubs, Ian Smith's men will have the services of Gloucester's new prop Rupert Harden, centre Jonny May and converted scrum-half Charlie Simpson-Daniel.

They will also be able to field England Under-20s prop Shaun Knight, who spent last season on loan at National Two side Cinderford and hooker Adrian Duncan, who also spent time at the Foresters.

Other names retained, which takes the total tally to eight, include England Under-20s lock Dan Williams, fly-half Tristan Roberts and prop Yann Thomas, all of whom were regulars on Billesley Common last season.

Head coach Smith said. "They are all outstanding prospects.

"It will be fantastic if we can carry on the good work by both parties.

"It helps the players and the youngsters but it is not going to be easy for them.

"It is a good arrangement that has worked well for the last couple of years with the likes of Jack Forster and Dave Lewis.

"They will get good competitive rugby in a pressurised environment."

May scored a hat-trick for Hartpury College in the EDF Intermediate Cup final last season while Simpson-Daniel, younger brother of Gloucester star James, represented England at sevens this season.

Former Newcastle Falcons Academy prospect Harden signed for Gloucester at the end of last season after impressing Academy coach Mark Cornwell while playing for Tynedale in National Two.

The deal between Moseley and Gloucester gives them access to all second and third-year academy players not needed by Gloucester.

First years are part of the deal between Gloucester and Cinderford, who now lose out on the services of Simpson-Daniel, Knight and Duncan after they played a part at Dockham Road in their debut National Two season last year.
