Motorcyclist dies after A435 Gotherington crash
A motorcyclist has died following a road accident in Gotherington this morning.
The 47-year-old Evesham man was riding a red Yamaha motorcycle when it collided with a silver Peugeot on the A435 at around 8am this morning.

He was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol where he later died.
A 20-year-old man from Apperley was arrested on suspicion of driving without due care and attention and has been further arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He is currently helping police with their inquiries.

Following information from people at the scene officers believe the driver of a white van may have witnessed the collision and be able to help them with their investigation.
The van was originally described as a BT van, however enquiries have been made with the company and none of their staff were in the area at the time.
This potential witness is urged to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 52 of September 14 as soon as possible.
