MINSTERWORTH returned to the top of the league with a thumping 9-1 success at Lydney Town Reserves.

Steve Badhams (2), Ollie Stephenson (2), Ryan Parker (2), Kacey Johnstone, Ryan Bevan and Stacey Lee scored their goals. Connor Jones grabbed Lydney's consolation.

Kevin Robinson scored twice for Whitecroft in a 2-0 win at Mushet & Coalway, while Luke Murdoch fired a treble to help Westbury United defeat Broadwell Reserves 4-3.

Joe McGregor was Westbury's other marksman, with Lee Scotford and Rob Stanyer adding to a Mike Franklin own-goal for the losers.

Dave Childs struck a brace for Ellwood Reserves against his former club Coleford United, but the visitors won 3-2 with efforts from Ian Callow, Rob Merry and James Weyman.

In Division One, leaders Newnham United came from behind to beat Sedbury United 3-1 with goals from Johnson (2) and Reed.

Matt Davies and Simon Gwilliam (3) guided English Bicknor to a 4-0 win at Aylburton Reserves, while Carl Woodroffe (2) and Ian Cruickshank scored for Mitcheldean Reserves in a 3-1 victory at Howle Hill. Lydbrook Reserves overcame Redbrook Rovers 5-1 with strikes from Mike Etheridge (2), James Turley, Lee Adams and Stuart Arnold.

Rank Outsiders won a tight match with Yorkley 2-1. Matt Jackson scored first for Outsiders, but Kevin Pegler equalised before half-time. Lee Manns struck the only goal of the second-half for Outsiders.
