Music festival unveils line-up for next year
THE line-up for a music event has been unveiled.
Chipping Campden International Music Festival runs from May 5 to 18.
Festival organiser Charlie Bennett said: "I firmly believe this to be one of the most exciting festival programmes to date, featuring some of the world's greatest musicians."
The event starts with a joint venture with the preceding Literature Festival, Music – A History in Voices by Peter Whitfield. The evening features a sequence of poems spoken by 21 composers from Palestrina to Messiaen, alternating with extracts of their music.

The festival finishes with the Chipping Campden Festival Academy Orchestra in St James' church, performing Mozart, Schubert and Brahms.
