WILDLIFE lover Frank Tunbridge was left scratching his head since he discovered the mystery of the disappearing roundabout rabbits.
Big cat tracker Frank has turned his attention to the bunnies at the roundabout at Barnwood.

Where are the roundabout rabbits
Frank, who uses the roundabout regularly, noticed the rabbits which had made a home on the island disappeared a week ago.
"Usually you see at least one or two of them on there, but there's no sign of them," he said.

"There was a keen frost this morning and there wasn't even a single rabbit track which you might expect to find.
"It's a shame they aren't there as people used to throw carrots and cabbage out of their car windows as they passed by."

“The rabbits haven't all disappeared. Some of them are still there, and they are suffering from myxomatosis.”

“Thomas some people just don't have a sense of humor, I think just maybe that Tim is taking the P out of the fact that the weather hasn't been nice so the rabbits will "stay inside" like a lot of people and not hibernating like Thomas says as they are crepuscular and you don't tend to see them as much during winter. It looks to me as if you are attacking others to cover for your own lack of knowledge, yes Tim isn't always funny but was spot on in this case, maybe you should go and play on the motorway as that might be for "The Greater Good" (now everyone) "greater good"
Note the second "greater good" it's part of the joke.....”

“I see that one person has given this article the thumbs-up, now that the Brockworth/Barnwood mistake has been corrected. Clearly it doesn't take much to please some people!”

“Rabbits don't like either the cold or the wet, so they stay underground a lot of the time during bad weather. I last saw a rabbit there a few weeks ago, and expect to see more within weeks. Frank Tunbridge simply has NO IDEA.”

“@TimMessanger
Cannot echo Thomas enough here. Having to deal with the most unhumerous of comments from Tim Messanger is extremely annyoing. Your continued negative ratings on post can only suggest a lot of people do not appreciate anything you say. May I suggest you move to some other place to provide your pointless posts?
Thanks.

“No idea as to the rabbit's whereabouts....but I drive past there many times and don't see any...so I'm not going to be concerned quite yet.
On the plus side, I had a nice pie for tea last night.”

“Thomass - His untimely death results from a dislike of him by the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance due to his terrible spelling and tabloid journalism.”

“thomas1996 - your latest comment is hilarious. I must remember to watch the dvd again soon, although I think it's on TV in the next few weeks.”

“Tim, it's ELMER Fudd. Can I suggest you go and stand under the spire at Wells Cathedral and wait. I'm sure it's for the 'greater good'”
