Celebrate Peter Reed's Olympic success on Saturday when an open-top bus tour will start from Stroud's Subscription Rooms at 12.30pm and head on to Nailsworth Town Hall where Pete will mingle with his local community.

There will be more openings of the Gigg Mill on Saturday from 10am to noon and the Dunkirk Mill Centre from 2pm to 4pm. Dunkirk Mill Centre will also open on Sunday at the same times.
Services for Sunday will include a 10.30am family worship with the theme Harvest, followed at 6pm by evening worship with Holy Communion at Christ Church.
Nailsworth Gardening Group will meet in the Mortimer Room on Monday at 7-30pm for a talk by Mr D Everitt entitled Autumn – the forgotten season. More details from Kath on 01453 834046.
Events scheduled for Tuesday include a women's meeting starting at 2.30pm at Christ Church with Margaret Highton of Gideons.
Also on Tuesday, Jayne Morriss, Chelsea medallist and Nailsworth Flower Society member, will give a flower arranging demonstration and talk Minchinhampton In Flowers' at the Market House, Minchinhampton, at 2.15pm. The arrangements will be raffled after and proceeds will go to the Flower Guild and the church. Tickets are £6.50 each from Pam Page on 01453 889439 or from M & B Stores in the town.
BoxGardening Club meet in the Village Hall on Tuesday from 7.30 for 8pm to welcome Paul Hervey-Brookes and The Winter Garden.
