The Citizen continues to back our butcher's campaign as the National Farmers Union launches a Buy British campaign to voice the message that they have the highest standards for fresh, British food.
Shoppers are being reminded to look out for the Red Tractor farm assurance logo, which stands for independently inspected food, traceable from farm to pack.
These methods are in response to the latest scandal that horsemeat is being passed off as beef in frozen foods.
