Needlework talk in Stroud, Gloucestershire
NEEDLEWORKERS will present an illustrated talk in Stroud about Art Nouveau Fashion.
After a presentation by Dr Clare Rose, senior lecturer at the Royal School of Needlework, the afternoon at Stroud's Museum in the Park on September 14 will hear about the school's degree programme from fellow lecturers Angie Wyman and Cheryl Welsh.
The Art Nouveau period from 1890 to1914 saw new materials and forms in clothing.
The Royal School of Needlework is the international centre for hand embroidery.
