New Barton charity shop opens
THE ribbon has been cut and a new dawn has begun for Age UK Gloucestershire.
The charity, formerly Age Concern, has opened its first shop under its new name in Barton Street.
Gloucester MP Richard Graham was on hand to do the cutting honours at the event on Friday, which was well attended by the community.
Stuart Croft, of the charity, said: "It is great to be up and running and we have got an exciting future ahead of us.
