New bakery opens its doors
HANDMADE bread, cakes and chocolates are now being produced in a sparkling new dedicated bakery.
Ori Hellerstein and Yvonne Costello threw open the doors of the new premises in Merretts Mill Industrial Estate, Woodchester, for The Artisan Baker for an official opening on Monday.
Ori, who helped in his mum's delicatessen in Israel from an early age, moved to London eight years ago where he studied at Le Cordon Bleu cookery school.
He worked in several fine dining restaurants before coming to Painswick. His speciality breads and pastries have been a hit at markets including Stroud and Painswick, and with many local shops.
