New barbers set for Gloucester while council offices prepare for revamp
Plans for a new barber shop in Gloucester were approved at a city council planning meeting last night.
Meanwhile, plans to completely revamp the North Warehouse council offices were also approved.
Partition walls will be knocked through on all floors making it more spacious throughout.
The new barber shop will soon open in Weighbridge House, in Southgate Street, which is situated within the entrance to the Docks.

“So, all the stories on TIG's website about North Warehouse going to be leased out to raise income for Gloucester's council were false then, were they? Oh for the return to a Gloucester based local paper instead of a Cheltenham based one. RIP Gloucester Citizen!”

“Umm, there's a sign on North Warehouse telling people the letter box isn't the councils, and that post needs to go to Herbert Warehouse. Sloppy reporting!”

“New council offices revamp, what for? New water machine, vibrator chair, comforts, stressless things, foot spas, fruit deliveries for grazing, what rubbish, and we are paying for it.”

“Why is it one rule for the council and another for the rest of us. I am still in the recession, no rise in wages for me and so not spending in the shops. It is about time the council put their own house in order (remember OHIO, their own motto) and stop spending on needless projects.”
