New beat officers for Tuffley
NEW faces will be seen on the streets of Tuffley this week as two community beat police officers begin work on a new patch.
PCs Fraser Mackie and Sam Jones, who have both worked in neighbourhood policing elsewhere in Gloucester, are now responsible for the Tuffley, Linden and Podsmead areas.
PC Mackie said he was looking forward to the challenges.
"We have already been out and about, meeting people and finding out what residents want from us," he said. To contact police, call 101.
