The service, which operates between Ross-on-Wye, Ruardean, Coleford and Monmouth now offers customers travelling from Coleford two journeys that arrive in Monmouth prior to 9am.

Both services are operated by Stagecoach West. Certain journeys on Service 44 are subsidised by Herefordshire Council and a number of journeys on Service 35 are supported by Herefordshire Council and Gloucestershire County Council.

Ian Manning, managing director, Stagecoach West, said: "In these difficult economic times we are delighted to be launching a new Stagecoach service and enhancing an existing one.

"We are really pleased to be working in partnership with local authorities and both changes further enhance our network in the Ross-on-Wye and Herefordshire areas.

"We hope customers will find our new and enhanced services beneficial to their daily lives and look forward to welcoming them on board."
