New concerns over Parrish murder suspects
PARENTS of murdered Joanna Parrish have new concerns that her killer may not be brought to justice.
Roger Parrish and Pauline Murrell have been told by the new examining magistrate that another suspect police were told about two years after her death in Auxerre in 1990, is being investigated.
They believe French serial killer Michel Fourniret and his wife Monique Olivier, who helped him stalk his victims, should be pursued as the main suspects.
"We were worried that focus was shifting away from Fourniret and Olivier, which is why we thought it important to go and meet the new magistrate," said Mr Parrish, who doubts evidence against another man stacks up.
