New health group option
TOP county councillors are expected to give the go-ahead next week for a new local organisation for users of health and social care services.
The new organisation, known as HealthWatch Gloucestershire, is part of national changes to the NHS.
The county council's cabinet meets on September 12 to discuss the proposals and is likely to approve them.
