New look and an even better service
From today, the Gloucestershire Echo has a fresh new look. We hope you like it.
We have tried to create a modern design that you will find easier to read.
We have brought the Echo's masthead up to date and will be packing the pages with facts and stats.
Gents, come in to Earl's & Co and enjoy a haircut and finish, glass of whisky and a shoeshine for £18.50

But no matter how smart the design, a newspaper is only as good as its content. That has been the driving message behind our plans to improve the paper. There will be more pages in the Echo throughout the week to ensure we bring you the stories that matter to you.
We're giving you a bigger say by expanding the letters page to a two-page Your Say. We have also added daily business and nostalgia pages to the mix, and have a permanent home on page 13 for our popular Love Cheltenham feature.
In sport, the relaunch of the Pink Un will be supported by Young Sport on Tuesdays and we're bringing you more sports pages every day.
Look out too for a bigger, improved Weekend supplement from October 19, when, in response to requests from readers, we will also bring back the seven-day TV guide.
Throughout the week, the only place to turn for the news that matters to you is the Echo and our website gloucestershireecho.co.uk.
