New look for flats approved
PLANS to make changes to a house in Gloucester have been approved by planners in the city.
Mr P Zegveldt applied to Gloucester City Council for planning permission to install new windows in the property in Park End Road.
He also wants to make alterations to the northern stairway of the building.
In his report, planning officer Bob Ristic said: "The proposal seeks to make a minor amendment to the appearance of the side elevation of the existing block of flats.
"The proposed windows would be of an appropriate design and would not be detrimental to the appearance of the building or neighbouring amenities.
"For these reasons it is considered that the proposed amendments are acceptable and it is therefore recommended that proposed changes are approved."
