The fact that both wins came on the road will put them in good stead for the semi-finals which will take place on March 30.
Newent will now make the long journey to Norfolk to face Wymondham, who easily beat Beccehamian 50-10.
While Drybrook will not have to travel as far as they will go to Cantabrigians in Cambridge who narrowly edged out Beccles 13-12.
