'Nigel has instilled us with more belief'
SELF-BELIEF underpins a new Kingsholm attitude, hails Freddie Burns.
He reckons Gloucester's mindset has changed since Nigel Davies' arrival and hopes heavy hammerings will be a thing of the past.
Burns' last-gasp penalty salvaged a 16-16 draw at Worcester.
Andy Goode's penalty one minute earlier handed the home side the lead – but Burns said there was never any panic.

Burns said: "Gloucester has always been a team that on a good day, play well and win, but on a bad day play poorly and it ends up quite horrific.
"But now even if we're playing badly we have that belief that we can still get something out of games.
"Under the posts when Goodey hit that penalty at the weekend, no one said anything about us losing, it was all about winning the restart.
"And at the scrum everyone knew we still had a chance.
"The philosophy and the mentality has changed, that never-say-die attitude is working well so far, and now we've got to keep it going.
"Against Northampton we had chances to win, we came back three or four times to win at Irish and then at Worcester we looked dead and buried but got the draw.
"Over the years we've had maybe five or six changes to the playing squad, and the majority has stayed the same.
"But this year with Nigel coming, we've had to start from scratch, so we're developing, we're in a process and it's just good to know that week on week we're moving forward and stepping up.
"I believe in Nigel's philosophy, what the squad's trying to do and I believe in everyone at the club.
"We've got huge self-belief at the moment, that whatever happens in a game we can always drag ourselves into a position to get something out of it.
"We went to Worcester where we don't tend to do too well, and we didn't perform that well this time – but we still got a draw."
