Northway Infant School closed
A broken boiler means children at Northway Infant School in Tewkesbury have an unexpected day off.
The school is closed for the day while engineers try to restore heating to the classrooms and is expected to reopen again tomorrow.

“code of practice??!! the world's gone mad! What happens to that code if any of those children go and work in a cold stores warehouse or even outside (eg builder, trolley pusher etc) in the winter?”

“why do boilers only break at schools when it snows??
it could be -8 outside but no snow and the school will be open but the minute it snows "boom" and the boiler breaks. My primary school's boiler broke once but we just put our coats on! Can't these children do the same?”
