CAMPAIGNERS celebrated victory after a proposed solar panel farm was refused.

Cotswold District Council planning committee threw out MS Power Projects's bid to install up to 16,000 solar modules with control buildings, cables, fences, CCTV and an underground grid to land at Norton Hall, Mickleton, near Chipping Campden.

A total of 118 residents objected mainly because of the impact on the landscape.
