Office to become a home
AN OFFICE in the Lansdown area of Cheltenham is to be converted into a new home.
Planning bosses at Cheltenham Borough Council granted permission for Angle Mews, in Lansdown Place Lane, to undergo the conversion.
Previous attempts at letting and selling the property for business use have proved unsuccessful.
Officers at the council said enough evidence had been given to establish it was correctly marketed and that retaining the site for employment purposes had been fully explored.
The application includes alterations to the layout, with the carport becoming part of the proposed new home while the 1980s front will be remodelled. It had been used as an office for 20 years.
